Six-Can Soup

You’re welcome! I’ll just go on and get that out of the way up front because I KNOW you are all going to be loving this quick and easy recipe!
You know how sometimes when time is running short you just need something SOUP-er (sorry, I couldn’t resist!) quick and easy for lunch or dinner? This is it!
You only need six ingredients and you probably have at least 5 of them in your pantry right now. The only one I might not usually have on hand is Chili-no-beans, but it wouldn’t be hard to stock up on it.
I can’t remember where I originally got this recipe, so I can’t give credit. It could have been from a friend, (if it was you, let me know!) off the back of a can or cracker box or maybe even Pinterest or some other online outlet. But regardless of where I got it, I don’t know how many times its bailed me out of a dinner-time dilemma.
Ready? Here goes:
Six- Can Soup
1 can Rotel tomatoes
1 can sweet whole kernel corn
1 can Veg-all
1 can chili-no-beans
1 can vegetable soup
1 can cream of chicken soup

This is the basic recipe. You may want to tweak it, add in more or substitute other items for some of these. You could use regular tomatoes, you could add in can of diced potatoes in place of something else. You could even use chili with beans if you wanted to get crazy! Whatever you decided to use, it will be delicious.
Just mix the ingredients all together. I’ve made it in a pot on the stovetop and I’ve put it in the crockpot on low, either way works fine.
I like to serve soups with crackers, cornbread or biscuits, but my favorite thing to eat alongside a tomato- based soup like this is a pimento cheese sandwich (cut into triangles, this part is very important!) for dunking. A grilled cheese sandwich would also be great. I’ll tell you more about my world-famous grilled cheese sandwich at another time!
